The Athens Dance Teams perform during pregame and on the sidelines during the Athens Football season and during halftime of the Athens Basketball games. There are two teams, high school (grades 9-12) and middle school (grades 7-8). Auditions are held in the spring of each school year. In addition to performing, the teams can also be found at pep rallies, parades, and mini-camps. The dance team is a great way to get involved, show school spirit, and have fun. We believe dance develops both the body and the mind through building strength, work ethic, confidence and character.
