Flag Football

We are proud to announce the launch of the second season for a Flag Football team at Athens High School! This exciting addition to the Golden Eagles athletics program provides an innovative and inclusive opportunity for female student-athletes to compete in one of the nation’s fastest-growing sports.  Led by Head Coach Chelsea Hurst, with support from Assistant Coaches Chuck Smith, Jessica Veysey, Michael Fraker, and Jarrod Harrison our program is built on teamwork, athleticism, and a deep passion for the game. With a dedicated coaching staff and a group of trailblazing student-athletes, we're ready to make our mark in this inaugural season. Everyone at Athens is thrilled about flag football, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!
