Flag Football

We are proud to announce the launch of the first-ever Flag Football team at Athens High School! This exciting addition to the Golden Eagles athletics program provides an innovative and inclusive opportunity for female student-athletes to compete in one of the nation’s fastest-growing sports.  Led by Head Coach Stace Tedford, with support from Assistant Coaches Chelsea Hurst and Chuck Smith, our program is built on teamwork, athleticism, and a deep passion for the game. With a dedicated coaching staff and a group of trailblazing student-athletes, we're ready to make our mark in this inaugural season. Everyone at Athens is thrilled about the start of flag football, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!
